UC Berkeley faculty and staff can purchase unlimited rides on all AC Transit lines for a deeply subsidized cost and pre-tax savings, and students are eligible to ride free throughout the semester.
For a combined package of transportation incentives and benefits, UC Berkeley has created the New Directions Program to boost interest in and adoption of alternative modes of transportation. Program participants are rewarded with parking discounts, additional transit subsidies, Emergency Rides Home and much more.
