University Affiliates

Pay and Display

In order to park during peak hours in a University parking lot, you must at all times display a valid parking permit. To purchase a permit, you will be required to provide proof of affiliation or approval from a sponsoring department or appropriate campus authority.

Note: All permit-holders must pay the non-refundable $36 Annual Transportation Fee along with any applicable monthly or daily fees (Carpool permit-holders excluded). Daily permits are non-refundable.

Faculty and Staff Permits

Faculty and staff permits (F permits) are valid July 1 through June 30 of each fiscal year and are prorated at the time of purchase. Although Parking and Transportation provides renewal options prior to the end of each fiscal year, faculty and staff are responsible for proactively renewing their permits and displaying a valid permit.

Employee parking permits are either available for individual use, or may be purchased for departmental use. A departmental permit provides parking privileges for periodic use by department staff, a reserved space for a specified time period, parking for University vehicles, parking for loading/unloading, and the ability to purchase a supply of visitor passes.

To purchase an employee parking permit, go to Faculty/Staff Parking Permits

Student Permits

Student permits (S permits) are valid for one semester and are prorated accordingly. There are two types of student permits:

  • Student Semester permit (sold each semester, priced per month)
  • Student Daily Hangtag permit (sold annually only) combined with a Dispensing Machine Ticket (DMT), purchased at the lot for the day of use to be displayed on the dashboard.

Due to continuing construction on campus, student parking spaces are very limited and are not guaranteed to permit holders. Before committing to a parking permit, explore the Class Pass and other transportation options, which may enable you to save money on the annual non-refundable parking fee.
